One person was shot by federal officers in Minneapolis, Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.) said on Jan. 24.
“I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning,” Walz wrote in an X post on Saturday morning.
An official from the Department of Homeland Security told the Epoch Times that the “suspect had a firearm with two magazines,” adding that the situation was “evolving.”

The incident comes amid regular anti-ICE protests in the city since protester Renee Good was shot and killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer as she hit the federal agent with her car during an immigration operation. Federal authorities maintain that the ICE agent acted in self-defense.
