A crash on the busy section of the M6 has seen emergency services rush to the scene, with drivers warned of long delays. Two lanes are closed on the M6 southbound between junction 13 (Stafford) and junction 12 (Cannock) following a collision.
Traffic officers, along with the emergency services, are currently on the scene. Drivers have been warned they face delays of one hour and six miles of congestion between junctions 14 and 12 on the approach. National Highways wrote on X: “Lanes 1 and 2 (of 4) are now closed due to a collision. Emergency services and traffic officers remain on scene. There are delays of 60 minutes and 6 miles of congestion between J14 and J12 on the approach.”
